i wish...
I wish that words would flow like a river from my heart onto a page. I find that my longing to be candid is matched only by my complete revulsion at the thought of doing so.
I find that all of my deepest thinking lately has happened during my long commutes to and from work. I think the monotony of these trips sparks in me something of the profound. If only my musings and ruminations wouldn't flee quite as quickly when I got back to the comfort of home. I think they are afraid of the stillness and quiet.
So it goes, right?

i so know how you feel. i have a forty-five minute commute to work every morning (about an hour going home) and i feel like i think my deepest thinks on the road during those times. then i get home and think "dinner!"
maybe take a mini-recorder or something and record some of your thoughts. i've done things like this... even pulled over to the side of the road to make notes. but i'm also a huge nerd.

This is so true, a flash moment of insight on the morning commute is easily forgotten.
