in this darkness i seek solace. my spirit roams this aparment endlessly, and i am victim of its sway. even the music cannot settle this knot in my stomache. it is at times like this that real life taps me on the shoulder and i catch a glimpse of its massive presence. i ask only that i meet it with open arms, and not like a child fading from a ghost. what a terrible tragedy to fear the future, when what it brings is yours to take joy in.
if only these thoughts would help me sleep.
