A Milestone of Sorts
That image to the left, my friends, is homage to to fact that I just reached the "10,000 tracks played" mark on Last.fm. For some reason I find that kind of special.Also, after much deliberation I finally signed up with eMusic.com so that I can take advantage of their 75 music downloads per month for a $20 subscription fee. I've realized that I spend waaaay more than 20 bucks a month on music, and since I have entirely ceased downloading music (shall we say..."under the radar?") my wallet could use a bit of a break. And yet...I am constantly in need of fresh new tunes. I suppose that's the problem with having headphones attached to my head 9 hours a day; new albums get old pretty darn fast. Except for Radical Face. Actually, I've pretty much been listening exclusively to spoken podcasts for the last couple of weeks, and now those are getting kind of stale as well. What's a man to do? Abandon the search for meaningful and growingly expensive entertainment to listen to the hum of my computer while I ponder the silence?
Um. I don't think so. Anyone have any audiobooks they can lend me?
