As I was watching the Discovery Channel this afternoon a curious bit of irony was placed into my lap. I turned the TV on just in time to catch the commercial for BP that is displayed above (quite an odd bit of advertising in its own right, considering the product.) The commercial was then immediately followed by a promo for an impending DC special called
Green: the New Red, White, and Blue which deals with the need for alternate energy sources and the destructive nature of our "fossil fuel addiction."

I hope someone did that on purpose.
